Well I have let this blog grow cobb webs due to the holidays, computer issues and fortunately being busy. So I will get back to posting some of the more interesting shoots I have worked on over the last few months and maybe dig into some of the older more interesting ones as well.
Well I thought I’d post some of the behind the scenes shots of the final Junior League Cook Book shoots with photographer Rob Adamo. These are several days worth of shooting over the last two months. These cover several locations such as the northern tip of Clearwater beach at the exclusive Carlouel yacht club, a strawberry field, a beautiful home on Tampa’s Famous Bayshore Blvd (famous for being the longest unbroken sidewalk in the country), and beautiful Davis Island over looking Tampa Bay.

Davis Island
here we have a mixed reflector for fill and a beauty dish to balance out the natural light between our subject and the back ground.
Rob testing the light with the stand in food. As you can see it was a vary windy day.
The food and the overall look of the shot. However keep in mind that this was shot with my Android phone camera so the actual shot looks amazing.
Some drinks shot in natural light
a boaters lunch shot in natural light (even though you can still see the flash remote on the camera I assure you the strobe was far away.
The Beautiful House on Bayshore Blvd whose yard we shot in
Here they have just started to build the set that will reflect Tampa’s Gasparilla celebration. We have a beauty dish back a good ways to help lift shadows and balance the light and here we are bouncing a light into a large reflector we call a V-Flat to give us a large soft light from that side.
